As a school, professional learning for staff within the school and for members of staff from other schools is an important element of our work to raise standards.
We have a comprehensive professional learning programme in school and in recent years we have had experience of designing and delivering high quality programmes for the Foundation Phase Alliance and Gyda’n Gilydd in the secondary sector. We have led programmes on areas such as action research and mentoring and coaching. The teachers who lead and contribute to the programmes benefit personally and learn professionally. A leading role like this has also had a positive impact on the pupils in Llanhari.
